I wish to purchase a reasonably priced door bell/chime but I have no idea of which one to get. Hopefully you can help.
My situation is that I need the chimer in the hall of my house which is to be plugged into an electrical socket therefore not needing batteries; I also need a receiver that I can take out to my greenhouse so I can here a visitor when I’m out of the house in the garden.

I was wondering if you can give advice to the following question.
We are building a professional practice office with 5 independent individual office suites and 1 shared common waiting room.
What is the best way to have a wireless doorbell system that would have 5 different small buzzers (I guess that would be the way) in the waiting room, each ringing to a specific office? (I guess that would include us putting the name of the office suite or name of the practitioner near each buzzer.) Any ideas which product would be helpful to us? Simple but classy. We do not need any camera or device to see who it is. Would we have to buy 5 different systems? Which specific system would you recommend?

There are 2 solutions:
1. Get intercom with multiple receivers like this one.
It support up to 6 different offices. It looks professional and you can put office names next to the buttons, but it comes with the camera.
2. Or you can get 5 doorbells like Honeywell and put Office Names above on the chimes.

I am looking for a simple, wireless, plug-in doorbell with a built in intercom system so that i can talk to the person ringing the bell. I don’t need or want video, motion detectors, etc or anything complicated that requires an app setup. Any ideas?

My recurring frustration with nearly every wireless plug-in doorbell has been the outside button. Either the button sticks (difficult to push or won’t return – causing the doorbell to ring non-stop), or I have to frequently re-seat the battery. I am very technical, and have done surgery on several of these units, but after 10 years of this, I am considering installing a knocker.
Range is not an issue (50′, indoors, with only the outside wall between the transmitter and receiver). At this point, I don’t even care if I have a decent selection of tones (although that would be nice). I just want it to sound every time someone presses the button, stop when the button is released, and not randomly chime at 4:00AM.
For my last attempt, what would you recommend?
